Turbine flowmeter is the main type of velocity flowmeter. When the measured fluid flows through the turbine flowmeter sensor, under the action of the fluid, the impeller rotates under force, and its rotational speed is proportional to the average flow velocity of the pipeline. At the same time, the blade periodically The ground cuts the magnetic flux generated by the electromagnet and changes the magnetic flux of the coil. According to the principle of electromagnetic induction, a pulsating potential signal, that is, an electric pulse signal, will be induced in the coil. The frequency of this electric pulsation signal is proportional to the flow rate of the measured fluid.
Among various flowmeters, turbine flowmeters, positive displacement flowmeters and Coriolis mass flowmeters are the three types of products with the best repeatability and accuracy, and turbine flowmeters have their own characteristics, such as simple structure and few processing parts. , light weight, easy maintenance, large flow capacity (the same caliber can pass through a large flow rate) and can adapt to high parameters (high temperature, high pressure and low temperature), etc. So far, this type of flowmeter products can achieve technical parameters: caliber 4-750mm, pressure up to 250MPa, temperature -240-700°C, such technical parameters are difficult to achieve for other two types of flowmeters.
Turbine flowmeters are widely used in the following measurement objects: petroleum, organic liquids, inorganic liquids, liquefied gas, natural gas, gas and cryogenic fluids, etc. It is widely used for trade settlement in foreign transshipment and gathering stations of liquefied petroleum gas, refined oil and light crude oil, as well as the first and last stations of large crude oil transmission pipelines. In Europe and the United States, turbine flowmeters are second only to orifice flowmeters for natural gas metering. The Netherlands alone has used more than 2,600 gas turbine flowmeters of various sizes and pressures from 0.8MPa to 6.5MPa on natural gas pipelines. Has become an excellent natural gas flow meter. Although the excellent measurement characteristics of the turbine flowmeter are favored by people, but the impression is given by the moving parts, the service life is short, and it is unavoidable to hesitate when choosing it. After people's unremitting efforts, it should be said that the situation has greatly improved. Turbine flowmeter is the most common flowmeter, and its products have developed into a scale of mass production of multiple varieties, full series, and multiple specifications.
